Description

Transform your overripe bananas into rich, fudgy brownies with just three simple ingredients! These healthy, flourless brownies are naturally sweetened, gluten-free, and packed with chocolatey goodness. Ingredients

  • 2 medium ripe bananas (about ⅔ cup), mashed
  • ⅓ cup natural peanut butter
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Optional Add-Ins:

 

  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a small baking dish (8×8-inch or similar) with parchment paper.
  • Mash Bananas: In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  • Mix Ingredients: Add the peanut butter and cocoa powder. Stir until well combined and a thick batter forms.
  • Add Optional Mix-Ins: If using, fold in chocolate chips, nuts, or vanilla extract.
  • Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Bake for 17-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.

 

  • Cool & Serve: Let brownies cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use very ripe bananas (with brown spots) for the best sweetness and texture.
  • For nut-free brownies, swap peanut butter for sunflower seed butter or tahini.
  • Brownies continue to set as they cool, so don’t overbake!
